We can help in lots of different ways. Our service is free, confidential, independent and impartial.

If you or someone you know is struggling with the cost of living, find out what we can offer to support you on this page and also further down a variety of our partners who can offer support and access many other free helpfulf tips and advice.

Contact Sarah using details further down this page, to access our multiple resources which are detailed below to help you with rising costs.

If you are not sure how we can help , please contact Sarah who will be on hand with friendly assistance, no matter how small an issue you may think it is let us help you - we will work to get you as much support as we possibly can from both us and our many project partners.

Clothing and other essentials

We can help provide you with access to clothing and other essentials in a number of ways, we can offer vouchers using our system to most retail outlets, that can be used to purchase clothes to help keep you warm, attend a job interview or any other reason you may need help.

With this we can also help you access personal hygiene and sanitary products which are an expense you may be struggling with. We also have a limited number of haircut vouchers donated by a local business.

We can also help access items such as prams and school uniforms.

Energy support and advice

We can offer you credit on your energy account if you are struggling with bills, we also work with a range of partners and can help if you are in energy debt.

We offer free items that can improve your home energy efficiency, reducing your bills and helping you stay warm.

We can also offer home energy visits to offer advice subject to availability.

Food and other costs

We can help you with access to food with vouchers for major supermarkets. These vouchers do not let you purchase alcohol or tobacco but can be used for other items including pet food, baby food and hygiene products.

We also work with various partners in local community larders to allow you to access affordable food and other community partners to offer free cooking lessons

We have advice on meals that are cheap to make at home and can offer you space in our free community cooking lessons.

Transport savings

We can help you with transport costs including giving you access to active travel options including our electric bikes and we will soon be offering affordable access to mobility scooters for disabled and elderly residents.

We operate our electric vehicle club that can help you save money by selling your personal car and joining the car club meaning you only have to pay for a car when you use it with no regular insurance, tax or maintenace costs.

Digital assistance

We can give you free access to the internet with SIM cards provided by Vodafone that also offer unlimited texts and calls.
