If you are not sure how we can help , please contact Sarah who will be on hand with friendly assistance, no matter how small an issue you may think it is let us help you - we will work to get you as much support as we possibly can from both us and our many project partners.
We can help provide you with access to clothing and other essentials in a number of ways, we can offer vouchers using our system to most retail outlets, that can be used to purchase clothes to help keep you warm, attend a job interview or any other reason you may need help.
With this we can also help you access personal hygiene and sanitary products which are an expense you may be struggling with. We also have a limited number of haircut vouchers donated by a local business.
We can also help access items such as prams and school uniforms.
We can offer you credit on your energy account if you are struggling with bills, we also work with a range of partners and can help if you are in energy debt.
We offer free items that can improve your home energy efficiency, reducing your bills and helping you stay warm.
We can also offer home energy visits to offer advice subject to availability.
We can help you with access to food with vouchers for major supermarkets. These vouchers do not let you purchase alcohol or tobacco but can be used for other items including pet food, baby food and hygiene products.
We also work with various partners in local community larders to allow you to access affordable food and other community partners to offer free cooking lessons
We have advice on meals that are cheap to make at home and can offer you space in our free community cooking lessons.
We can help you with transport costs including giving you access to active travel options including our electric bikes and we will soon be offering affordable access to mobility scooters for disabled and elderly residents.
We operate our electric vehicle club that can help you save money by selling your personal car and joining the car club meaning you only have to pay for a car when you use it with no regular insurance, tax or maintenace costs.
We can give you free access to the internet with SIM cards provided by Vodafone that also offer unlimited texts and calls.

CHA can assist with financial advice and support in addition to providing housing. The team can assist with income maximisation, benefit applications, carry out benefit checks, including checking to see if you are receiving the correct amount of benefit, and assist with completing applications and form filling for disability benefits such as Adult Disability Payment. They can also help with applications for Discretionary Housing Payments for those who have some entitlement to Universal Credit or Housing Benefit, and signpost to specialist organisations for debt advice.

Equal Supported Employment support the disabled community of North Ayrshire on their journey to move into and sustain employment.
Equal provide support for anyone 16+ with a disability, long term health condition or struggle with mental health, run activities throughout the week to help build confidence, teamworking and other transferable skills. They get to know YOU, understand your goals and aspirations for the future and set a realistic action plan.
